Whether looking to manage bills or create a budget, Microsoft Excel has you covered for all of your statistical and organizational needs. This class explores the basics of using Excel and how to utilize its calculation and data formatting tools.

This session will be an introduction to Microsoft PowerPoint and will cover the following topics: Getting Started with PowerPoint Slide Basics, Text Basics, Applying a Theme , Inserting Images, Applying Transitions , Checking Spelling, Presenting Slide Show, Saving and Printing ,Modifying Lists , Indents and Line Spacing, WordArt and Shapes, Modifying Themes, Formatting Pictures, Arranging Objects, Animating Text and Objects, Inserting Video, Inserting Audio ,SmartArt Illustrations, Hyperlinks and Action Buttons, Working with Tables, Working with Charts, Reviewing Presentations, Advanced Presentation Options, Slide Master View. Depending on interest the class may be extended and/or expanded.

CCPL Computer Basics for Beginners Classes are presented free of charge. However, spaces are limited, and registration is required. To register for a class, please call (270) 753-2288.


No CCPL Computer Basics Classes will be held during the months of June and July. Classes are tentatively scheduled to resume in late August. Information regarding Fall 2017 classes will be released July 24, 2017.
