CCPL is Pleased to Present the 2019 Summer Reading Program "A Universe of Stories!"
CCPL’s Summer Reading Program is a fun and entertaining program designed to encourage kids and their families to enjoy the public library and reading during the summer break from school. The program encourages reading for pleasure which, in turn, helps kids maintain and strengthen their reading skills while on break from school. Summer Reading is NOT a reading class or an instructional program.
2019 Schedule of Performers and Events:
- June 3 MadCap Puppets presents "The Great Space Caper," June 10 Science Tellers presents “Aliens: Escape From Earth!,”
- June 17 Bright Star Theatre presents “Jack’s Adventures in Space,”June 24 Hooked on Science presents “A Universe of Science,”
- July 1 Barry Mitchell’s “Aliens, Astronauts, and a Turtle in Space,” July 8 NHECM Wildlife Program,
- July16 Summer Reading Celebration Carnival--Save the date for an evening of super family fun! There will be games, food, music, prizes and more! Details will be announced at the start of Summer Reading 2019.
CCPL’s Summer Reading Program is free; pre-registration is mandatory. Sessions will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis and interested participants
are encouraged to register as early as possible to get the session of choice. Please check session registration from links shown on the right
